Welcome to the Radical Gardener’s Blog! I’ve not been in the blogging mood for quite some time and now I need to get off me arse and write. It’s very cathartic, whether you deem me a decent writer or not and whether or not you get anything out of it.
I’m very passionate about organic farming, soil preservation, front and backyard edible gardens, composting, permaculture, sustainability, and preserving the harvest. I believe in CSAs, local food, good Earth stewardship and more. Also important to me are topics about maintaining health. There’s a food revolution under way. It’s time to take part. It’s time to take control of your life, your health, your community and your planet. I started this blog out of my passion for gardening and growing food, sharing things I have learned with others, and to continually learn more about gardening, sustainability, our health and the health of the planet. I hope that you, the reader, learn something that helps you to make better decisions about your life and the world around you. Please post your comments, ask questions or let me know what you think about a certain topic.
The picture posted here is from my past yard in Colorado. I must say, after nine years, I miss all the work that I had done there with the soil and what was grown and planted. But now on to a new yard, 1/2 acre and much more to plant and grow.
